The iconic Cesca armchair—originally designed by Marcel Breuer in 1928 and produced under license by Knoll International in Italy, 1987—has been reimagined with contemporary upholstery from the textile studio ClothFabric. The seat features an unbleached, hand‑printed linen panel displaying translucent floral and foliage motifs over a white, asymmetrical cross‑hatch background, while the back combines a rich vermilion linen front with a soft lavender hemp‑linen blend rear panel. Both fabrics are heat‑set and sourced through mindful, ecological production that echoes the vibrant spirit of the 1980s. The classic wood‑and‑steel frame retains its timeless silhouette, now sealed with a hand‑polished finish for enhanced depth and protection. New chair glides have been fitted to ensure smooth, silent movement across any floor surface.
