1960s "Continental" Side Chairs

Two mid century modern side chairs with black linear steel frames curved and shaped timber slats and low profile lightly raked convex seats from the Continental range made by Framac Industries and launched at the NSW Furniture Guild Exhibition in 1965. Restored to near original condition the irreplaceable Vynex Thaisheen upholstery in Persimmon has been cleaned and repaired, wood slats refinished and the steel frames black japanned with a unique recycled material consisting of natural ingredients superior in wear and aesthetics to modern enamel finishes.
